Summary
To carryout quality inspections on products to ensure that they conform to the required standards of the company's Quality Control Plan.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Maintain awareness of ISO, ESD, Safety and Electrical policies and procedures.
- Check samples of packed products visually, by touch and by weight to ensure that they conform to requirements in terms of number, color, voltage,etc.
- Count numbers of items in boxes or cartons to ensure accurate shipment counts.
- Check packaging to ensure it is sound and any dates are correct.
- Complete incoming inspection sheet, in process inspection sheet and final inspection sheets, as applicable.
- Maintain a high standard of housekeeping and ensure that all environmental and health and safety regulations are complied with.
- Assist in the maintenance of a safe and healthy working environment and ensure that all equipment is used in accordance with safety regulations and company rules.
- Operate following equipment or perform the following tasks:
- Calipers
- Voltmeter
- Electrical testing
- Packaging & boxing
- Power supplies
- Pull guage
- Oscilloscope
- RMA processing
- Others duties as assigned
Reporting Related Duties:
- Failure analysis.
- Nonconforming goods.
- IPC Certification.
Qualifications:
- Education/Experience - At least high school or equivalent in education.
- Customer Service - Pleasant approach, attitude, appearance, and the ability to work as part of a team.
- Read and interpret technical drawings.
- Ability to operate relevant machinery and to comply with health and safety regulations.
